Real Madrid are looking to make a move for their former defender Sergio Reguilon. The club is finalising plans to re-sign Tottenham left-back.

The Ex-Real Madrid player has excelled in the Premier League at North London. He is eligible to re-join Los Blancos through a buy-back clause in the contract that took him to Tottenham in the summer of 2020.

The Spanird is getting good support from Spurs’ new manager Antonio Conte and he is part of Conte’s first XI as a left wing-back. The Italian manager would avoid losing the talented player.

However, the 25-year-old has never hid the fact that he wants to make it at Los Blanocs.

Report from ABC suggest that La Liga club are ready to activate the buy-back clause and secure Reguilon for next season. They are already eyeing big moves in next summer like Mbappe.

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema believes the last year was his best year career-wise. The Frenchman is the club’s finest player and is currently, the leading scorer for the club in season 2021/22.

The 36-year-old was granted the Madrid Award by the local press yesterday.

He told Real Madrid TV, “I’m happy and proud to win this award. It was my best year because I scored a lot of goals, made a lot of assists, and I helped my team to win.

“The objective at Real Madrid is always to win trophies and to win every competition.

“We’re doing well, we’re alive in all of them, and we’re going to work and continue to fight for silverware this season.”

Real Madrid is doing great this season. They already claimed the first trophy of the season by winning Supercopa de Espana in January. Los Blancos are at the top spot of the La Liga 2021/22. They have also cleared the next round of Copa del Rey.

The 22-year-old has scored two goals and provided one assist in 31 Ligue 1 matches this season across all competitions.

Monaco’s French midfielder is averaging 2.7 tackles, 2.7 interceptions, 0.7 clearances, 1.5 shots and 1.1 dribbles per game in Ligue 1 and the UEFA Europa League.

The Rouen-born talent is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to secure the ball back at the centre of the park. He can strike the ball purely and with power from long range and is also proficient at setting up a few decent chances for others around him in the opponent’s half.

Tchouameni can add more bite and steel to Carlo Ancelotti‘s midfield department and he could help them to challenge for the UEFA Champions League trophy.

This season, the 24-year-old has made 15 appearances for Los Blancos, scoring one goal and assisting on two occasions.
The Serbian striker has been a consistent fixture on Real Madrid’s bench, which explains why he averages 0.7 shots, 0.4 critical passes, and 0.3 dribbles per 90 minutes in La Liga.

However, he deserves credit for being tidy with his link-up play after completing 79.2% of his attempted passes in the Spanish top-flight.

Jovic’s efforts off the bench have grabbed the eye at times, so Los Blancos would be prudent to keep him until they can find a suitable replacement. Ancelotti’s first-choice striker is now Karim Benzema, with Jovic and Marino Diaz providing support on the bench. As a result, if Real Madrid is to fight for numerous titles in the second half of the season, the manager will need to rely on Jovic’s skills.

All things considered, Real Madrid should not consider allowing Jovic go this month, even if a loan transfer would be beneficial to the player’s confidence.

Luka Jovic has scored just one goal and provided two assists in 15 appearances so far this season.

According to Marca, Jovic has once again been linked with a January exit from Real Madrid. It happened this time last year when he returned to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan, but the hamstring injury suffered by Karim Benzema last weekend has put the brakes on any potential departure for the Serbian striker.

Benzema, who missed a penalty and subsequently left the Santiago Bernabeu injured, returned to find his residence “in a complete shambles,” but it is unclear what was stolen.
